The Access Guardian App (“the App”) is developed and provided by Drainworx Limited (“we,” “our,” “us”). The App is designed to support safe working in confined spaces by digitising the permit-to-work process, recording atmospheric monitoring, and managing emergency response information.

2. Usage & Operational Data – Log-in details, NFC entry/exit records, permit-to-work data, atmospheric readings (oxygen, methane, CO, H₂S), and incident reports.

3. Device & Technical Data – Device type, operating system, IP address, and app usage statistics.

4. Location Data – If enabled, the App may capture approximate location information to record site access and incident location.

5. Emergency Records – Details of team members in confined spaces and incident status, visible only to authorised administrators.

How We Use Information

We use the information collected for the following purposes:

- To provide and operate the App’s safety compliance features.
- To log confined space entries/exits and associated atmospheric monitoring.
- To maintain secure records of permits-to-work.
- To support incident response and emergency management.
- To improve the App and ensure regulatory compliance (including UK HSE Confined Spaces Regulations 1997 and ACOP L101).
- To communicate with administrators and authorised users regarding safety alerts or updates.

- With Employers / Duty Holders: Confined space entry logs, atmospheric monitoring records, and incident data are accessible to authorised administrators within your organisation.

- For Legal or Safety Reasons: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, or to protect life, health, or safety.

- Emergency incident screens remain active until cleared through the secure desktop portal, ensuring integrity of safety records.

We retain confined space entry logs, permits, and incident records for as long as required under applicable health & safety law, employer policies, or contractual obligations. Data no longer required will be securely deleted.
